Before coming to technical specifications, let me say that the biggest reason regarding why I thought to write down preview for this phone is that it is cheapest phone in Lumia series!
Planning to buy a new phone within range of 15,000? If yes then Lumia 610 is what you're looking for.
Recently launched in India, this Windows based phone is just for Rs. 13,000. Yes you read it right!
As I always do, I won't every all the specifications of this phone. Rather I will say only few unique ones.
Starting with dimension, this phone's dimension is 119 x 62 x 12 mm which means it'll easily fit in your hand without much problem. And this beauty weighs only 131.5 grams which means practically there's negligible load on your palm!
Like other members of Lumia family, this one is made of TFT capacitive screen that allows it to be multitouch enabled with 65k color support. The screen resolution is 480 x 800 pixels.
Coming to memory, I feel there's a small disadvantage in this because this phone doesn't have a card slot. But they've overcome this by giving you as much as 8GB internal storage! It has 256MB. If you compare it with other biggies like N8 then surely 256 MB looks less but practically speaking, 256 MB is enough to make sure that many apps run together without making your phone to lag.
Lumia 610 comes with a 5MP camera along with LED flash. The camera is assisted with auto focus and face detection feature. My Nokia 500 also has a 5 MP camera so I thought to compare the camera of both using GSM arena's photo comparison tool and here were the results.

This phone runs Window's 7.5 Mango OS, it is integrated with Qualcomm MSM7227A Snapdragon chipset that enables this masterpiece's CPU to to work at 800 MHz. Unlike my phone, Lumia 610 comes with GPU, Adreno 200 to be specific.
Other basic features present are it has GPS support, USB on the go support, Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP, etc.
All in all, this phone isn't a bad choice if you planning to buy it for yourself or as a gift for your friend. 'Gift for friend' reminds me one thing that I completely forgot to inform you'll! I've started accepting gifts for my birthday so just in case you want to send something then feel free to do so!
